So as you can tell by most of my newer photographs, I just got back from a vacation to Mexico. We boarded a Royal Caribbean cruise ship and set sail. when we arrived in Mexico I had high hopes of seeing the real culture and people of Cozumel. But immediately as we left the ship my parents went to the closest tourist-infested beach and I hated it. I don't see a point in being in a foreign country and going to a common beach or restaurant that looks just like, or is the same one you have back home. Why no experience the country? see how their people live, how they work, what they eat?...So for 3 hours straight I begged my parent's to take me into the heart of the Island and out of the sugar-coated tourist garbage. So we took a cab and told him to show us the real cozumel, and for 40 dollars I had 1 hour and 30 minutes to see(and take photo's of) the real Cozumel. The poverty stricken, working class atmosphere. I got exactly what I came for.

yea i didnt get any either lol, at least we both didnt get anything
ummm i dont know what do you think our next one should be?
I'm not sure, there's still plenty of categories and styles we can do. We could do a series on only Black and white, or we could do a series of "Cold" images which consist of blues. Or we could go to subjects..like...African Americans, Elderly People, or any other portrait subject. Or we can go back to categories like sports, people or events, ect. Or we could even do something on quotes. Like photo's that properly portray the meaning and context of the quote. And last but not least, we can even do shots based on human Moods, like melancholy, hope, hopelessness, desire, lust, ect.
There's unlimited things we can do for these assignments. We can even do them based on a single word. Like "Safe" and then we could do our 3 photo's or more on photo's that resemble or portray meaning to the word "Safe"
So this week is your pick, You can decide tomorrow if you wish. I'm in nno Hurry
